Miranda joined Community Impact Newspaper as an editor in August 2017 with the issue of Grapevine / Colleyville / Southlake. In 2019 she switched to editor of the McKinney edition. In 2020 she started reporting for Frisco as well. Miranda covers local government, transportation, businesses, and nonprofits in these communities. Prior to CI, Miranda was editor-in-chief for The Prosper Press, The Anna-Melissa Tribune and The Van Alstyne Leader, and prior to that, she was a reporter and designer for The Herald Democrat, a daily newspaper in Grayson County. She graduated from Oklahoma Christian University with a degree in Journalism in 2014.
