NEW YORK, April 27, 2021 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) – The Content Marketing Institute is proud to announce world-famous chef Cat Cora as the headliner for the ContentTECH Summit 2021. Cora will take the virtual stage at the event from June 8-10, 2021. She shares her experiences as a cook, author, restaurateur, television presenter and lifestyle entrepreneur. She will also cook something special for the audience!
The Mississippi native Jackson, who was educated at the Culinary Institute of America, has cooked in two 3-star Michelin restaurants in France and has opened more than 18 restaurants and over 500 pop-ups to her platform for health, wellness and sustainability to highlight. Cora has also authored five books. In 1999 she made her TV debut as co-host of Food Network’s Melting Pot with Rocco Di Spirito. Since then she has appeared extensively on a number of television shows, most recently as co-host on BRAVO’s Around the World in 80 Plates and FOX’s My Kitchen Rules.
Cora is a culinary trailblazer who holds a number of “firsts” for women in the culinary industry, including in 2005 when she made television history when she became the first female iron cook on the Food Network hit show: Iron Chef America. She also became the first woman to be inducted into the American Academy of Chefs’ Culinary Hall of Fame.
As if that wasn’t enough, Cora is also an active philanthropist. She is President and Founder of Chefs for Humanity, a nonprofit that works to reduce hunger and promote nutritional education around the world. In 2018, Chef Cat Cora started her female empowerment internship program to help women succeed in the culinary arts. For her efforts, President Barack Obama presented her with the prestigious President’s Volunteer Service Award and the President’s Lifetime Achievement Award.
“Cat Cora is an exciting addition to this year’s ContentTECH Summit program for 2021,” said Stephanie Stahl, General Manager of the Content Marketing Institute. “Just looking at her list of achievements, she knows exactly how to create not only great food and experiences that resonate with customers, but also the same with their content. With the principles of excellence and persistence, she knows how to develop a loyal audience that is always looking for more. ”
