LAUDERHILL (CBSMiami) – A woman in Lauderhill died in a fire in her townhouse early Friday morning.
According to Lauderhill Fire Rescue, the fire broke out at the townhouse on the 2200 block of Northwest 55th Terrace.

The woman was pulled from the fire and transported to Broward Health in critical condition, but died in the hospital.

According to Lauderhill Fire Rescue, a dog was also killed in the fire, but they saved a kitten.
