ST. LOUIS (KMOV) – Over the weekend, TSA officials confiscated four “cat eyes” from passengers at Lambert International Airport.

“Cat eyes” are objects of combat that some people wear for self-defense. To use it, two fingers are passed through the eyes of the “cat” so that the user can prick someone in the eyes or elsewhere on the body with the “ears” of the object.

They are considered a prohibited item by TSA and anyone caught with an item can take legal action. Anyone flying through St. Louis can check the TSA website to see which items are prohibited from traveling.
