SEATTLE, June 17, 2021 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) – Trupanion, the leading provider of pet health insurance, today announced the launch of TruCuddle, a global movement that will bring well-deserved pleasure and added support to veterinarians.
Veterinarians are the unsung heroes who work around the clock to keep pets healthy. The animal-loving profession is often confronted with heartbreaking situations that lead to high burnout, decreased job satisfaction, stress and, tragically, suicide.
As a veterinary company, Trupanion recognizes this veterinary challenge and will provide funds at the launch of its TruCuddle love campaign that will go directly to support grants, scholarships and educational programs to nonprofits that benefit the next generation of pet care heroes.

Launched on Veterinary Medicine Recognition Day (June 18), TruCuddle will run during National Veterinary Technician Week (October 17-23) and will work for organizations that empower, support and educate the veterinary community.
Through TruCuddle, Trupanion will partner with Not One More Vet (NOMV) and the Multicultural Veterinary Medical Association (MCVMA), contributing $ 250, equally shared by the organizations, every time a veterinary clinic is in the US or Canada Trupanion’s software downloads as a payment solution – a solution that can directly reduce economic euthanasia. The promotion runs from June 18 to October 23.
NOMV is the world’s largest peer-to-peer self-help group working to improve well-being and mental health status in veterinary medicine. MCVMA leads the veterinary profession towards racial and ethnic diversity, equality and inclusivity.
Trupanion also recently announced its largest charitable donation – a commitment to issue over 50,000 shares valued at over $ 4.9 million in MightyVet to support the careers and welfare of veterinarians.
