It could be a nice week this week as the Rice County Fair is in full swing, but we don’t want to miss the opportunity to find a new home for an adoptable animal. This week we’re introducing Loki, a cat who was given up when it was less than a year old because its previous owner had health problems. While his name may sound like trouble, it seems anything but!
Our friend and volunteer at the Mower County Humane Society, Michaela Tews, has more information on this adoptable cat named Loki.
Loki had to give up in May 2021 due to the owner’s health failure. Loki is around 8 months old at the time of delivery. Loki is a people lover and has been working on getting used to so many cats around him since that post! He’s a fun and loving guy ready to have a home of his own.
If you’re looking for a new companion this summer, just in time to start a routine before the kids and grandchildren go back to school.

If you’re interested in Loki, you can adopt him for just $ 50 with an approved application that you can download and fill out here. A reminder from the Mower County Humane Society that you must be 21 years old to adopt an animal from them.

Whether it is Loki or another cat or dog from the Mower County Humane Society or any other organization, remember that all pets are a lifelong commitment and you should make sure you are prepared for this investment.
