Marley

Marley is an incredibly handsome young man who really likes people. Marley didn’t get the attention he deserved in his old place, so he’s hoping to find the right family on his second try. Just look into his beautiful eyes and allow him to conquer your heart. Marley’s main goals are cuddling and watching TV with his humans. He’s now interviewing for his new family! If you’d like to meet Marley, please text Alicia at 516-984-4525.

Available for adoption at the Town of Smithtown Animal Shelter

Jiffy Pop

Jiffy Pop is a 10 month old cat who previously lived in a situation where cats were hoarded. She grew up in a house that was surrounded by many other cats and had very little human interaction. As a result, she takes time to trust new people and may initially act shy of strangers. Fortunately, she learns to get out of her shell and show her playful and loving side. Jiffy Pop’s ideal home would be a quiet place with outgoing cats who can help her socialize and become more open with others. She would also prefer a home with no dogs or children. If you’re interested in meeting Jiffy Pop, call 631-360-7575 today for more information!

Ollie

** Senior Alert ** If you’ve spent the entire 10 years of your life outdoors like Ollie did, you probably never expect a beautiful painting of yourself, but Ollie was surprised by its stunning likeness on canvas to that of a talented one Ninth graders was painted at Wantagh High School! Ollie was recently rescued in Nassau County when his caretaker went to a nursing home. He’s a cute boy who’s had a tough life. He had a dental procedure last week and most of his teeth were extracted. The beautiful portrait helped cheer Ollie up, and finding a home with someone who appreciates older cats will cheer Ollie up even more. To meet Ollie by appointment at Last Hope in Wantagh, please complete a Cat Adoption Application and submit it on the Last Hope website home page at lasthopeanimalrescue.org.

Available for adoption at North Shore Animal League America

Costello

** Senior Alert ** Eight-year-old Costello (adoption number H204188) had a rough time when he recently fell ill. NSALA vets took great care of him and put together a simple plan to get him back to health despite being diagnosed with FLUTD. Losing the only house he ever knew was a new obstacle for him, but this lovable gentleman takes comfort in making new friends and getting all the scratches he craves. Its soft fur just beckons you to stroke it! Costello waits quietly for an introduction to his next hero; could that be you

Honest

A local rescue hero strikes again! The three year old Honest (adoption # L80566) was spotted defending himself outside and was taken to the Fian Adoption Center Furry Friends Feline by Bianca for safety reasons. It took Honest a little rest to adjust to all the changes he had been through. This lovely long haired tuxedo that had a place to watch other feline friends delight in their human carers recovered quickly and became a valued member of the powder in no time! Honest has impeccable manners with his feline friends, but would appreciate a quieter household (with children aged 12 and over) to feel comfortable in his home. His purring pigeon is sure to attract the very lucky person he wants to make his own. You honestly won’t find a better friend to introduce you to your lonely cat at home than Honest!

Grace Slick

Grace Slick (adoption # WV0698) needs someone to love! Now that the NSALA vets have come up with a great plan to monitor their heart condition, this beautiful 2 year old rescue from the south jumps into the arms of visitors trying to convince them to be theirs forever. Just in case you’re still not sure, she’ll rub, rub, and rub into your heart. Really, you have no choice but to carry Grace away because you want someone to love too!

Batman

Batman (adoption # H208970) is looking for a superhero to save HIM. This cute 4 year old tabby recently lost his home and would love to find a peaceful one to replace. He’s not particularly interested in crusades and prefers cozy naps around trusted friends. Batman is being successfully treated for FLUTD, a disease covered by NSALA’s animal health centers. A calm, predictable routine will soothe his worried forehead, and you can share the legend of how you saved each other when you needed it most.

Beaux

It’s the tender moments that mean most to Beaux (Adoption # LA0332), a reluctant 1-year-old orange tabby who came before him from Louisiana, terrified of another big life change. NSALA happily offered him a quiet place. Just a short break in a spa-like setting set him on the path to healing, and now he thanks his new friends for the opportunity. A family with older children will give him the consistency he craves, which will result in much more happy chin rubbing sessions!

Maggie and Lizza

** Double Adoption ** Maggie (Adoption # H210433) and Lizza (Adoption # H210434) were discovered en route through Far Rockaway when their Savior offered them a safer off-road life. Though it takes a bit of purring, these devoted 2 year old sisters are beginning to realize that living at Fian Adoption Center for Bianca’s furry friends is indeed preferable to self-defense. Give them the opportunity to get to know you and they will tenderly accept your friendship in the blink of an eye. You just can’t resist a good cheek massage! After a difficult start, Maggie and Lizza would benefit from an experienced home with older children that will help them settle into a whole new lifestyle – being part of their first family!

Jerry Klein

** Senior Alert ** Twelve year old Jerry Klein (adoption # H210439) enjoyed his whole life with a devoted human and a house full of cats. But when his loved one recently passed away, he needed our help. We put Jerry and his friends in a sunny room at Bianca’s Furry Friends Feline Adoption Center and gave them all the comforts he feared losing when he lost his home. Jerry, the bravest of his family, is the first to open his heart to the great days ahead as a cherished part of a new family. If you want to brighten Jerry’s days with the tenderness he needs, we would love to place him with a calm, understanding family willing to feed his doubts and replace them with hope.
