TULSA, Oklahoma – An animal abuse suspect who was seen in a ring video of severely beating and stamping a dog has been arrested, Tulsa police said Saturday.

On October 7th, Ring shared the video on its app as an “incident or security alert” and it was quickly reported to law enforcement agencies.

The video also showed a second man admitting the abuse, police said.

Police later identified the men in the video as Kevon Hicks and Litrayle Haynes.

Hicks was arrested at his Savannah Landing apartment and Hayes turned himself in after being contacted by police.

The police said she also recovered “Chi Chi” and that she is in good health. Chi Chi was taken by Tulsa Animal Welfare for examination and care.

Haynes and Hicks are charged with animal cruelty.
