In this episode of The Vet Blast Podcast, Jove Jacob shares with Dr. Adam Christman, how the veterinary school is in his country, and discusses his interests in the area and more.

On this episode of The Vet Blast Podcast, fourth-year veterinary student Jove Jaco of Apollo College of Veterinary Medicine, Jaipur, India and a member of the dvm360® Student Ambassador Program explained how students are accepted into veterinary schools in India.

“As a pre-animal student, we have core exams that are run by the National Board Examinations and are based on your grades first, your grades first, and based on your college friends, and that’s how you get into vet school,” said Jacob Adam Christman, DVM, MBA.

“After attending veterinary school, diversity starts in the name itself. It’s BVSc AH – Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry in India and in addition to veterinary subjects we also have animal husbandry subjects such as livestock management,” he added.
