Every now and then the internet spreads the message of such benevolence that we can only appreciate it. It also makes us better people. Such an incident came into view and it concerns a cat. A cat dangled on the upper balcony of a stadium, fighting for its life. But soon two good Samaritans unhooked their American flag and thought it was a gentle fall under the cat. That incident happened at Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium, where people were watching a college football game and came home with a bizarre but heartwarming experience.
Craig Cromer and his wife, Kimberly Cromer, watched the soccer game. This has been her ritual for seven years. But when they raised the American flag and saved the cat’s life, that was “probably the strangest thing that happened,” Ms. Cromer told the Miami Herald.
While the couple’s flag provided the perfect cushion for fall, another onlooker plucked the cat and raised it into the air. The cat is alive and well.
Videos of the cat went viral on social media, with people praising the efforts of those present at the stadium. A video of the rescue received a whopping 7 million views on Twitter.
One user wrote: “I’m glad they caught him and he’s alive, but he must have been so scared, not only because of the fall, but also because of the loud noise in the stadium. So he turned around. He was stressed out! I hope someone took it home. “
