Stacey Solomon said her family’s hearts were broken after her beloved dog Theo died.
The Loose Women star shared the devastating news with her Instagram followers on Tuesday morning.
She said they said “good night” to the puppy on Boxing Day at the age of 11.
Stacey, 32, often shares snaps of Theo and the family’s other pet pooch, sausage dog Peanut, who joined the growing family earlier this year.

She shared selfies of herself with Theo and of him with her son’s Zachary, Leighton and Rex, and wrote to her followers: “Sweet Dreams Theo
“The best friend we could have wished for. Our hearts are broken. Yesterday at home in our arms we had to say goodnight to our Theo. 11 wonderful years.
“We were so lucky to love you, Fifi, and we will never stop. My lap has never felt so empty. I miss you so much now. My little girl. But oh my gosh, the memories and the Love that you brought into our lives.
“Thanks for everything, Theo. For protecting me and the boys when we needed it most. For loving us no matter what and for holding out for so long and waiting to meet your little sister Rose.

“Rex had in you the best friend he could ever have wished for and the boys had the best protector in the whole wide world. Even if Rex is little I know him, Zachary and Leighton will never forget you.
“Peanut misses his cuddle buddy very much so we try to make up for him while cuddling, but I know it’s not the same.”
She finished the emotional post: “Too the Moon and back Theo Forever Sleep tight my beautiful little lady.”
Stacey, who greeted baby daughter Rose with her fiancé Joe Swash in October, was quickly inundated with supportive messages.

Loose Women co-star Nadia Sawalha said, “Oh Stacey, I’m so sorry darling.”

Stacey also shared a long message on her Instagram story.
She said, “Hello everyone, I hope you had the most wonderful Christmas with your loved ones.

Stacey said she felt “lost” after Theo’s death
“On Boxing Day … Our beautiful Theo died. She fell asleep in my arms, surrounded by all of us in the pickle house.”
She then shared videos and photos of her beloved pet with her four children.
“I’m so glad you came to Pickle Cottage and met Baby Rose before you fell asleep,” Stacey said emotionally via a post.
