(CBS4) – A fire fighter on probation at South Metro Fire Rescue had a busy day Saturday – with three separate animal rescues.

“It’s not lions, tigers, and bears, but that fire department trial day was to save a cat, baby [falcon], and baby deer, ”officials tweeted.
