No dog is like another and to expect your second dog to be the same as your first is not fair to them. Or your first.
Dogs absorb our energy and your dog is likely to sense disappointment from you and not understand why.
Take the time to get to know your new friend. Over time, you will learn to understand one another and to love and appreciate him for the dog he is.
