Salem woman asks for public’s help in finding stolen dog

New Covid Cases Reported in Marion County: 116

New cases of Covid reported in Polk County: 69

Total number of patients in Salem Hospital with Covid: 79 on Thursday morning, a decrease of two from Wednesday. Of these, 16 are in intensive care and nine are on ventilators.

62 of the people in the hospital are not vaccinated against Covid.

Total occupancy of the beds in the Salem hospital: 481 of 494 licensed beds in use

Total number of people hospitalized with Covid in Region 2 (Marion, Polk, Yamhill, Linn, Benton, Lincoln County): 129, a decrease of six from Wednesday. Of these, 26 are in intensive care and 11 are on ventilators.

Total occupancy of hospital beds, region 2: 93 of 98 occupied ICU beds and 645 of 652 non-ICU beds occupied.

New Covid deaths reported: 59

The deaths reported on Wednesday included a 71-year-old Polk County man who tested positive on September 16 and died at Salem Hospital on October 4. The existence of framework conditions is confirmed.

There have been 11 reported deaths in Marion County. They are:

– A 66-year-old woman who tested positive on September 24th and died on September 28th at Legacy Silverton Medical Center.

– A 72-year-old woman who tested positive on September 29th and died in Salem Hospital on October 3rd.

– A 71-year-old woman who tested positive on September 24th and died in her home on September 29th.

– A 66-year-old woman who tested positive on September 4th and died in Santiam Hospital on October 1st.

-A 79-year-old woman who tested positive on September 20th and died in Salem Hospital on October 3rd.

– A 46-year-old man who tested positive on September 14th and died in Salem Hospital on October 3rd.

– An 86-year-old man who tested positive on September 13 and died in Salem Hospital on October 2.

– A 57-year-old man who tested positive on September 14th and died in Salem Hospital on October 1st.

– A 54-year-old woman who tested positive on September 9th and died in Salem Hospital on September 30th.

– A 78-year-old woman who tested positive on September 8th and died in Salem Hospital on September 29th.

– A 61-year-old woman who tested positive on September 4th and died in Salem Hospital on October 1st.

All had framework conditions.
