As part of its commitment to bringing affordable veterinary care to communities in need and supporting future veterinarians, PetSmart Charities announced the second year of the Steve Marton Veterinary Student Scholarship. Named for a former longtime chairman of the board of directors of PetSmart Charities and an animal welfare advocate, the award offers up to $ 50,000 for one year of tuition with a veterinary student who has shown interest and aptitude for a career in accessible veterinary medicine.
