Kelly Andrew shared a picture of her baby who spent the night in a hospital
A Twitter user shared the heartwarming story of how her dog saved her little girl’s life. The woman, known on Twitter as Kelly Andrew, said that her dog kept breaking into the nursery and trying again and again to wake her baby up. The family could barely understand their behavior. Regarding the incident, Ms. Andrew tweeted, “Last night the dog kept breaking into the nursery and waking the baby. She was sick and I was so sick of him. “
She explained the incident in more detail on Tuesday in a Twitter thread that was retweeted over 5,000 times, and the number is growing. With over 69,000 likes, the thread touched the hearts of many.
However, through the dog’s constant nagging, the parents found that their baby had stopped breathing. The dog was just trying to wake the baby up. The tweet continued, “We spent the night in the hospital. I don’t know what would have happened if he hadn’t woken her. We don’t deserve dogs. “

Until she stopped breathing.

The mother also shared an update on the dog named Henry and her baby’s health. She wrote: “The baby is much better today and we are at home with Henry, who has bravely held up the position all night, even though he is afraid of the dark.” We also see a snapshot of Henry in this tweet. Just look:

Another tweet followed, thanking other users who shared their “lovely anecdotes of dogs and cats acting as angels for their people”. It added, “Thank you for sharing all the goodness.”
I really can’t keep up with my notifications but please know that your kind words will be seen and appreciated. I tried to slowly react to all the lovely anecdotes about dogs and cats acting as angels for their people. Thank you for sharing all the goodness ❤️

Ms. Andrew never stopped raving about her pet pooch. She went on to thank Connecticut Children’s Hospital for the medical care they provided.
Since this thread is still doing numbers, I’d like to voice the @ctchildrens ER department for being literal heroes. Not just for our LO, but night after night, patient after patient. They give everything in their care, and you can tell ❤️

One person remembered surviving sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS) because of their domestic cat.
Many years ago we had a cat that slept with me in my cot. One night the cat went in and tried to straighten my parents after being thrown out of bed several times, peed on my father’s chest and ran out and back to my crib where I was lying, blue and not breathing, SIDS

Some of them noted how their dogs and cats would help them deal with depression or mood swings.
I got my dog when I was deeply depressed. The kind where you can barely eat, and you can’t stop crying, and you won’t get out of bed. When I was depressed, she never left my side. She snuggled up against me and nudged me to make sure I was okay. It was like she knew. She saved my life.

One user wrote of how a dog stayed by its owner’s side to help her with a mild diabetic attack. The tweet read, “Your dog never left her side from the moment she was unwell and also alerted my father when her seizure started.”
My sister had a low level of diabetes that led to a seizure. Her dog never left her side from the moment she was unwell and warned my father when her seizure started. You’re right, we don’t deserve it.
