Ozark veterinarian no long associated with practice

OZARK, Ala. (WTVY) – After Dr. Richard Timothy Logan came under fire in April for posting disturbing videos of the mistreatment of a cat, he announced that he would no longer be associated with Andrews Avenue Animal Hospital.

A letter was posted on the door of the office saying that Dr. Logan would no longer be associated with the veterinary clinic as of January 10, 2022. As for keeping the doors open, a check is being made to see if a replacement veterinarian can be found before January 31, 2022. If no replacement veterinarian is found by this date, the veterinary office will be closed.

News 4 reached out to Andrews Avenue Animal Hospital and its attorney. No phone calls have currently been returned regarding an update to the progress of a replacement.

Patients wishing to receive medication or copies of their files can do so by calling reception at 334-774-9309.
