Hand in unused and expired medication for safe disposal on the return day. 23 Oct

All prescribed and over-the-counter medications are accepted, including veterinary drugs, vitamins, minerals, and samples. Not accepted: oxygen bottles, inhalers and nebulizers; Needles and other sharp objects; Thermometer or infusion bag.

Residents are asked to keep medication in original containers and to remove all personal information from the containers before dispensing medication.

By preventing medicines from being washed away or disposed of, this event helps keep residents safe from accidental poisoning and drug abuse, as well as protecting streams and rivers.

Find a temporary drop-off location near you that is open on the return day.

In addition to the event on Saturday, permanent drug collection boxes are set up at several locations. Find out what to take with you to a medication dropbox and see a list of locations.
