Bond Vet, a new urgent care veterinary clinic, opened in Garden City on Monday, offering a treatment option for pets that require treatment earlier than a traditional veterinarian. However, a veterinary clinic may not be required.

Bond Vet accepts online bookings and walk-in visits, as well as telemedicine to expand access while limiting exposure in the face of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

“At a time of great uncertainty, you can rest assured that we are providing your pet with world-class veterinary care and a seamless experience,” said Mo Punjani, Co-Founder and General Manager of Bond Vet. “We have had more than 16,000 since we started our first clinic Seen pets, and it is clear that consumer demand is for a new type of veterinary experience. “

The Garden City location is Bond Vet’s fifth since the company debuted in 2019. The company also has four locations in New York City, including three in Manhattan and one in Brooklyn.

The clinic has its own examination and operation area as well as a retail wall offering design-oriented products for animal health and treats made from individual ingredients.

“To date, we’ve built an incredible team of veterinarians, nurses, vet nurses and care coordinators with a new, differentiated approach,” said Dr. Zay Satchu, Co-Founder and Chief Veterinary Officer of Bond Vet, “Through hiring, cross-training, and our robust continuing education program, we look forward to training and developing even more extraordinary people to care for the pets we all love.”
