As of today, PetSmart is the only Made by Nacho retail store. cook Bobby Flay developed the premium cat food with the help of his Maine Coon cat Nacho, who tested every bite for taste. The ultimate goal of the duo: Nacho and all his cat friends to create a delicious and nutritious menu with dry food, wet food and freeze-dried treats. Premium cat food made from cats contains thoughtful ingredients selected by Nacho to delight cats’ unique palates and support their overall health.

In developing Made by Nacho, Nacho enlisted the help of his own veterinarian, Dr. Katja Langto provide insight into the flavors and ingredients that benefit cats’ unique nutritional needs. All recipes have real animal protein as the main ingredient, from sustainably caught salmon to cage-free chicken and grass-fed beef. A standout ingredient in Made by Nacho recipes is the bone broth, which in all recipes contains aromatic nutrients and collagens while also adding extra moisture to moist foods. Fruits and vegetables like pumpkin, cranberries, blueberries, and kale are added to support immune system health, and millet and oats for fiber to support digestive system health.
