Trainer Ali Yesilirmak trains Boji during an Istanbul city social behavior training course to check his mental health after becoming an internet sensation. Boji is a regular commuter in Istanbul, using the city’s public transportation to get around, sometimes traveling up to 30 kilometers per day on subways, ferries, buses, and Istanbul’s historic trams. Ever since Istanbul city officials noticed the dog’s movements, they began tracking his journeys through a microchip and a phone app. Most days it will pass at least 29 subway stations and take at least two ferry trips. He learned how and where to get on and off trains and ferries.
