Fauci is the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, a division of the National Institutes of Health. Documents show NIAID spent $ 1.68 million in taxpayers’ money on animal testing. The tests were conducted between October 2018 and February 2019 at SRI International, a research group based in Menlo Park, California.
