It turns out that Kim Taehyung’s dog Yeontan aka Tannie, whom many consider to be the unofficial eighth member of BTS, is currently struggling with certain health problems. The heartbreaking news was shared by Taehyung aka V himself in a recent interview with GQ magazine. As soon as excerpts from the interview surfaced on the internet, ARMY flooded social media with prayers and best wishes for the adorable dog.

Yeontan isn’t the only dog to go viral today, however, as POTUS Joe Biden’s new puppy commander just happened to be the other “celebrity” stealing hearts on the internet. A new puppy is added to the family after Biden’s other dog Major is discharged from the White House because of serious behavioral problems. Major Biden was a pretty naughty dog, with several incidents of biting being reported in the past few months. The POTUS and the First Lady are now sending him off to a much quieter life with their family friends. Meanwhile, the 3.5-month-old German Shepherd puppy Commander arrived at the White House as an early Christmas present to the President’s family. For now, though, let’s focus on our adorable South Korean friend Yeontan aka Tannie.

Yeontan, who was born on September 7, 2017, was adopted by Taehyung after discovering the puppy “looked angry” and “needs lots of hugs”. Yeontan, who is a brown and black Pomeranian by breed, has struggled with some inherited health problems. V took him home and showered him with immense love and care, and the cute dog soon became one of the most revered BTS members.

The GQ interview, translated from Korean, shows how V opens up about Tannie’s struggle with certain complaints. “Tan’s health has been very poor since he was born,” said V, describing his problems in his own words (or barking). “Because the airways are small, me [sic] can’t breathe well. If I run a little, I’ll pass out and have two surgeries this year, but both times have failed. “

V heartily added his personal note to Tan, stating that these would be the words he would write to his dog in a thank you card. “… thank you very much for persevering, persevering and staying alive despite the hard work. I hope we can keep funny memories together for the rest of our lives and I want to see the adult Tan.”

Lune Keshini, one of V’s fans, had further explained Tannie’s health problems on Quora. “First off, Tannie / Yeontan / Tan is a Pomeranian. Pomeranians, like all small dogs, need to be careful about their small legs. This is not a health problem, it is common for a small dog. This is why small dogs are often carried and need ramps or have stairs in their homes so they can move around as needed. Tae mentioned that Tannie has medication to take. One of the pills he briefly pointed out is a normal heartworm medication that ALL dogs normally need takes one pill a month to prevent heartworms. He also appears to be on a breathing medication – this is another common health problem in certain small breeds of dogs. Pomeranians are one such breed. So this is most likely another drug Tannie will have to take And finally- Tae mentioned that Tan had problems with his ears- Another problem that is common and requires medication for prevention. In addition, special cleaning must be carried out.
