The Elgin and Oxford Counties Health Department is requesting information about a recent dog bite incident in Tillsonburg.

A dog was bitten off-leash while walking through a Tillsonburg park between 6:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, Southwestern Public Health said on Thursday.

The incident occurred in the area of ​​the Kolin Smith Memorial Skatepark and the Tillsonburg Dog Park.

The dog was a mix of rottweiler and border collie. The owner is a bearded man who wore a blue coat.
