Sedalia police were sent to Goody’s Steak Burgers, 901 South Limit Avenue, Friday afternoon to look for a suspicious subject walking down the street with a knife in hand.
The officers found the suspect who was still carrying the knife. The officers spoke to him and he agreed to put the knife back in its sheath.
After checking the suspect’s name with Dispatch, it was confirmed that he had an arrest warrant from the state of Florida. James H. Kreisel, 25, of Sedalia, was arrested and two knives were taken from him.
Kriesel was then taken to the Pettis County Jail, where he was held as a fugitive from justice.
