Eight-year-old skateboarder raises funds to save lots of sick cat

When eight-year-old Harley Cuttiford heard his mother talk about the emergency for a poor moggie at Cats Protection, where she was a charity volunteer, he stepped into action to raise funds for aid going to save the Pet named Twinkle was needed. Determined to use his skateboarding and BMX skills to pay for it, he challenged himself to complete 1,000 ramps at his local skate park in Bedworth, Warwickshire to raise 1,000 pounds. He soon lifted way above his goal and finished the ‘rampathon’ in one day and the Moggie was saved. Since Harley’s efforts, Twinkle the cat has made a full recovery and been taken in by a new family.
