Caterpillar, which will be exhibiting in the Central Hall (Booth 6229) of the Las Vegas Convention Center during MINExpo International 2021, has a number of offers planned for the show from September 13-15.
For example, Cat will be exhibiting the MD6310 rotary blasthole drill bit, which offers technology, efficiency, safety and productivity improvements. Fully integrating Cat components and systems, the drill bit can hold up to 92,922 pounds of drill load and is aimed at 8 to 12.5 inch hole diameters.
The company will also show how technology can improve safety at a mining site with the Cat MineStar Detect Driver Safety System (DSS) display. Distraction is detected. According to Cat, DSS reduces 97 percent of major fatigue events and 80 percent of average fatigue events – plus 91 percent of distraction events.
In addition, multiple Cat Command stations and trailers will be on display for MINExpo visitors to experience effective remote control and semi-autonomous drilling, grading and underground operations from a distance.
Life cycle solutions
At MINExpo, the remanufacturing services of Caterpillar with the exhibited Cat-Reman engine C175-16 will be presented. This engine delivers up to 3,420 hp, which reduces overall ownership and operating costs.
Cat representatives will also be available to explain how MineStar Health is maximizing equipment availability and reliability by connecting a machine to the office. The service supports proactive maintenance services and predictive device analysis by collecting device data, monitoring critical machine parameters, receiving real-time alerts, analyzing operating trends and patterns, predicting failures and receiving repair recommendations.
Other Offers
In addition to teams of employees with machine and technology expertise, representatives from Cat Financial and Cat Solutions will be at MINExpo to exchange information on security, fleet management and productivity offerings that can be combined into comprehensive location solutions.
ThoroughTec simulation training offers the opportunity to experience the 7495 electric rope excavator. Participants can also experience two next-generation machine cabs – one for mining trucks and one for the 6060 hydraulic excavator – through the cabins on display.
