2021 is another year that can be described as unprecedented, but the kindness and support we have received from the people of Lincolnshire for the Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust (LCHS) and the NHS at large is so heartwarming that we are really doing that will appreciate all of your support.

Lincolnshire NHS Charity is an independent and committed charity that plays an important role in supporting community, mental health and learning disability services to make a difference for our patients.
The charity raises its money in many ways, staff and patients often host various sponsored events, cake sales, charity balls, parachute jumps, walks, marathons and 10K runs, 24 hour cycle challenges – whatever, we probably have it made! In addition, generous donations from patients and their families are always gratefully accepted.
Your support and generosity have enabled us to improve services and facilities that would otherwise not be funded by the NHS. How we spend charitable funds is carefully considered and donations to certain funds or for certain purposes may only be used for this purpose.
A therapy dog for Scarbrough Ward at Skegness Hospital, staff redesign, new equipment for pediatric physiotherapy patients, patio furniture at the Peter Hodgkinson Center, Christmas gifts for patients on our wards, and equipment for pulmonary rehabilitation patients. These are just a few examples of how we can improve patient care or support our staff with your donations. We’re also always happy to be in touch with our donors to let you know how your money has been spent.
All of the items we have been able to purchase through the Lincolnshire NHS Charity have made such a huge difference to our patients and our staff across the county. Therefore, on behalf of everyone at LCHS, I would like to thank you once again for every single donation, every friendly word and every gesture of support that will be shown to us in 2021.
