Washington State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine is hosting its annual Research Symposium on Wednesday, October 20.
The event recognizes excellence in research across the college, from undergraduate to graduate students and faculty, by allowing researchers to display their work publicly on posters.
This year posters will be on display from 3pm to 5pm on the second and third floors of the Veterinary and Biomedical Research Building on Stadium Way.
An award ceremony will follow, highlighting researchers from five categories: undergraduate, graduate, postdoctoral, doctor of veterinary medicine, student and intern, and doctor of veterinary medicine.
Prizes for the dean’s Outstanding Junior Faculty Research Award and the Zoetis Award for Veterinary Research Excellence are also awarded.
Zoetis, the world’s largest manufacturer of medicines and vaccinations for pets and farm animals, has supported the event since its inception.
