Just a week from the end of the Purdue United Way campaign, the College of Veterinary Medicine is just a few percentage points away from its goal of raising $ 18,080 for local authorities that serve the Greater Lafayette community. More than $ 16,500 has been raised so far, which is 91% of the target, with a few days left for PVM faculty and staff to make their pledges.

“We need everyone’s help to achieve the goal of PVM,” said Dean Willie Reed. “The College of Veterinary Medicine has always been generous in helping the university achieve the Purdue United Way campaign goal. Thank you for the incredible support so far! I know I can count on the PVM family within the university to be a role model for the United Way agencies who do so much to help our Greater Lafayette community. “

If you haven’t already made a contribution, you can donate to the campaign until November 17th. Donations / commitments can be made at www.purdue.edu/unitedway. And with ePledge, it’s easier than ever to donate by simply following these three steps:

  • Use your Purdue career account ID and password to log into ePledge
  • Once you have signed up, you will see a welcome message from Purdue United Way
  • Follow the steps to make your acceptance via paycheck, credit card, check, invoice, stocks / securities or choose not to participate this year

University-wide, the Purdue campaign raised more than $ 480,300 for the $ 725,000 goal. Purdue United Way Director Megan Eberly reminds Purdue employees that pledges are not automatically renewed year-to-year, so they must log on to the Purdue United Way website to renew their pledges for that year.

Donors can make an unlimited gift to the United Way of Greater Lafayette or choose a specific United Way agency. Gifts can be made as a deduction from wages or as a one-off donation. For credit card transactions, the United Way of Greater Lafayette contracts with CyberSource, a trusted name in e-commerce that meets industry security standards.

If a paper pledge card is preferred, you can contact Megan Eberly at meberly@purdue.edu or call 317-695-5740.

The Purdue United Way campaign will conclude at the celebration of the United Way of Greater Lafayette’s election victory on November 18 at the West Lafayette Golf and Country Club, and campus community members are invited to attend.
