Are you moving into a downward facing dog pose with your cat nearby? How in very, very close by?

Many people who enjoy yoga in the morning have found a constant companion in their always curious cat.

A cat who obviously loves stretching out on the mat next to the yoga practitioner and purring all the time while their human tries to stand like a tree or flow through a series of sun salutations.

However, how can you make a yoga sesh official with your co-companion nearby?

By signing up for yoga (with cats) with Pasadena Humane.

If your first thought is, “I can’t take my cat to an actual yoga class,” you don’t have to (so whew and all). This is an online event that will brighten your screen at 9 a.m. on Saturday, February 27th.

Certified Yoga Teacher Rachel Lees who is also a Registered Veterinary Behavioral Technician will be at the point to find your center and connect with your cat.

But she’ll share the spotlight with Ernie, her own cute cat.

The “all-level yoga flow class” presented by Basepaws (“a cat health and genetics company”) costs two dollars.

All proceeds go to the Raymond Avenue Historic Animal Center, which has supported, cared for, and loved a wide variety of living beings for several decades.

Pasadena Humane offers a variety of online events inspired by dogs and cats that include bingo, dental health, and other pastimes and themes.

Check out the calendar now to see what March has to do with whiskey.
