There have been many moments when I felt like I wanted to quit and live a life that didn’t require as much grit, but Frank won’t let me give up. “

How does your job help make a bigger impact on the world when it comes to health and wellness?
I hope that by raising awareness about the social health and wellbeing conversation, I can do my part in making us feel connected and supported even though we live in a hyperconnected digital age.
Can you share your top five “lifestyle improvements” that you think will help people improve their wellbeing? Please provide an example or story for each.
Wake up early! There is something game changing about waking up to the sun and committing to experiencing all that the new day has to offer.
Integrate nature wherever possible. The trees and wildlife have an innate way of comforting the soul and healing the body.
Writing letters to people who value you. This practice has become more consistent during this time of social distancing and has helped me stay connected with people I currently cannot be with and give them a tangible reminder of my presence and commitment to contact.
Walks during a phone conversation. Like most people, I am on the phone more than ever! I find if I go for a walk while I’m on the phone I get so consumed with the conversation that I commit to exercising longer than usual. It’s a mindful distraction!
Consider talk therapy! I’ve been in talk therapy for about 2.5 years and it has been an absolute key element to my wellbeing. I recommend it to anyone!
If you could start a movement that would bring the most wellness to most people, what would it be?
It would start a movement that ensures that every single person on the planet has the resources and tools necessary to maintain a high standard of living globally.
What are your “5 Things I Want Someone Told Me Before I Started” and why?
The first few years of starting a business will only serve to lay the foundation and gain the trust of others. Although everything in life seems to come to us with less and less effort, building a business requires hard work first, and then game time comes much later.
Time management is key when it comes to running a business where you set the rules.
Not every opportunity that presents itself is worthwhile. Sometimes the best option is to say no and turn down opportunities.
Unlearning my inherited scarcity situation was crucial. You cannot grow your business and make your dreams come true if you secretly expect it not to actually happen.
Not everything that comes is urgent. Although it feels like you need to do something right away because someone asks, you can usually keep up with it yourself and get there without pressure or fear.

What are the “myths” you want to dispel as a CEO or executive? Can you explain what you mean?
I don’t know if it is still considered glamorous and comfortable, but I can confirm that it is not. At least not at first. It can take months or years to be profitable and the first few years of business. I think the myth I would dispel is that matchmaking is easy. It is not! And the second myth I would dispel is that everyone can, and they absolutely cannot. It takes a unique mind and certain skills to be really great in this career. I think people don’t really understand that being a matchmaker means you have to understand the deepest parts of your client and help them heal themselves and work on themselves while intuitively seeking someone else to be you of the person you can assign them to, who you can help them to build into. You have to be able to project this perfectly and then timing it.
In your opinion, what are the biggest challenges facing women leaders that their male colleagues do not normally face?
I can’t speak for everyone, but I’ve definitely come across men who don’t even negotiate with a woman. There are certainly some archaic patriarchal attitudes ripe to throw them away.
