(CBS DETROIT) – Beaumont Health and Michigan Medicine are relaxing visitor rules.
Regardless of the vaccination status, Beaumont Health will allow one visitor per patient per day in its hospitals from 8 a.m.

Some Michigan Medicine visitor restrictions have been lifted for adult patients. Michigan Medicine allows one visitor each day starting Wednesday between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. Adults are allowed one visitor to the emergency rooms and for appointments at the clinic, according to Detroit News.

However, COVID patients are not allowed to visit Beaumont Health or Michigan Medicine visitors. COVID patients may only allow visitors at the end of life.
Both hospitals require visitors to wear a mask at all times while covering their nose and mouth. Hospital officials say those who refuse are not allowed to enter the hospitals.
