Adopt-A-Pet Dog of the Week: Thorn

Submitted by Adopt-A-Pet

meet Thorn! He’s a 55 pound, 11 month old pit bull. Thorn has a beautiful butterscotch brindle coat, amber eyes and a very melancholy face.

Thorn is a young, strong dog who is looking for an active family. He wants to please, is learning basic commands, leash manners and his new family will have to continue his education. Thorn sits and waits for his meals, and as he leaves his kennel. He likes other dogs and misses playing with his adopted sister, Rose. Thorn is sweet, loving, drives well in the car and looks forward to new adventures! A safe enclosed garden is required to keep it safe and happy.

If you have any further questions, e-mails are currently the only means of communication. The health of our two-legged carers and the general public is important to all of us, which is why we are temporarily suspending our public opening times as a precaution. We continue to receive email inquiries and applications and will get in touch with you as soon as possible. We ask for your understanding in these difficult times! Stay healthy!

Adopt-A-Pet has lots of great dogs and always needs volunteers. To see all of our current dogs, visit the Adopt-A-Pet website, our Facebook page, or at the animal shelter on Jensen Road in Shelton. For more information, email thedoghouse3091@hotmail.com or call 360.432.3091.
