BOSTON (WHDH) – A planeload of 45 cats displaced by Hurricane Ida made its way from Louisiana to Massachusetts over the weekend.

The cats will be housed in the MSPCA and Northeast Shelters while they await a forever home.

Veterinarians attend to the cats’ needs and take care of any health issues that arise before they are moved to a new home.

Anyone interested in adopting a cat can email neas.org/adopt or mspca.org/adopt for information about the adoption process.
